Our Club was founded in 1992 within the Cultural Club of the European Institutions with the aim of providing a jewellery workshop learning silversmithing techniques and organizing training courses and exhibitions from the jewelleries created by our members.
European Officials and Non-Officials meet at our workshop in a relaxed and artistic atmosphere for jewellery making.
Our experienced members have access to one fixed day per week, under the condition of mastering the workplace safety and basic techniques in jewellery making by following a class. These classes cover all the stages of jewellery creating, including sawing, filing, soldering and setting of stones. Our members realize their creations individually. It is important to be able to work independently and safe.
Occasional workshops, about specific techniques in jewellery making are organized, depending on the availability of potential teachers and the interests and requirements of our members. These classes may be both theoretical and practical.
The Goldsmith Club is not a school, does not provide diploma training and its activity is a hobby with no commercial purpose.
The workshop is open to our experienced members being able to work independently, on weekdays’ afternoons and evenings (limited places) at the European Foyer all year during opening hours.

We are organizing beginner classes for our new members. All members pay for their own training and materials.
